Hugh Verrier is the Chairman of White & Case LLP, a global law firm with 39 offices in 26 countries. With White & Case for 34 years, Hugh has been Chairman since 2007 and directs the Firm’s strategy and operations around the world. A New York-qualified lawyer, Hugh spent most of his career with White & Case overseas in Indonesia, Turkey and Russia, where his practice was focused on the development of natural resources. Hugh has law degrees from the University of Ottawa and Harvard Law School. He clerked for Justice Bertha Wilson, the first woman to serve on the Supreme Court of Canada.
