Dr. John Lee Garred, Jr. is a general surgeon and member of the American Medical Association. He is board-certified in critical care and Surgery by the American College of Surgeons. He has a Master’s Degree in Biology and graduated from Creighton Medical School. He grew up in Whiting Iowa and has family roots in the area. He has practiced at Burgess Health Center for over 30 years. When he is not doing surgery, he is engaged in his local church and enjoys building and flying aircraft. He recently built a biplane that took home Grand Champion at Oshkosh EAA Airventure 2019.
