Every town has a story. If we re-examine those stories, can we find a better path forward? On Tomorrow Town, Tennessee we are telling the stories of the people who call the Tennessee Valley home with a specific emphasis on military veterans.
If you really pay attention, can you find answers that have been hiding in plain sight all along?
Tomorrow Town, Tennessee is a production of NewsChannel 9, Fox Chattanooga, and Sinclair Broadcast Group Chattanooga.
When you drive through a city how much thought do you give to why things are where they are.
Why is this park here? Why do the sidewalks look the way they look ?
All of that is done for a reason.
Somebody or a group of somebodies planned all of that, and right now those somebodies are planning what your city will look like over next few decades.
This week on the show we talk to one of the people who is planning the future of several projects to improve public spaces in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Eric Myers.
He is the Executive Director of the Chattanooga Design Studio.
We talk about Urban Design which is the art of creating cities from deciding what building should look like and molding the spaces that surround all of those buildings.
Eric is one of the people making decisions about how parts of Chattanooga will look for the next several decades.
