Like all good Podcasts, we thought it wise to start off with an introduction, answering questions such as; who are we, why are we doing this podcast, what can you expect from us moving forward and why does your baby look like Lisa Simpson? I'm confident that we'll tell a joke or two... but don't quote me on that.
All good stories have an Origin Story; think Peter Parker and his Uncles untimely death pre Spiderman; or Bruce Wayne’s Parents premeditated murder with the falling pearl necklace pre Batman… The origin story tells a tale that generally begins with a set of terrible circumstances that ultimately lead the viewer down a path that eventually gets them to all the great things yet to come. This is our Origin Story.
We all know the story - Two people meet, they show each other all their best qualities; humour, sensitivity, strength; followed by some wine'ing and dining while showering each other is passionate exotic pleasures .... then you get married, have kids and it becomes; sweatpants, optional showers, skipped gym sessions, leftovers and the odd "who cares that I just passed gas from a strange place".... We call this episode the "bait and vart".
