Each episode wraps up with her getting practical advice from her guests such as how to get the best deal when buying a house, how to know you’ve found “the one,” and how to perfect your jump shot.
Hasan Minhaj (Off With His Head, Patriot Act) joins Ego as her dad for the day to discuss similarities between growing up first generation Indian and Nigerian, the intensity of mother/daughter fights, and if his kids think he’s cool. He also opens up about how therapy culture led him to a confrontation with his dad that didn’t go as planned. Later on, he helps Ego decide if she should buy a car.
