Growing up in small town Bethel, Alaska her parents pushed her to leave home for more opportunity and experience. She made her way to the Bay Area in California, then NY where she settled for college and eventually her professional career.

She talks about the multitude of failures that built her knowledge and curiosity, and without those moments she wouldn't be where she is today.
