Bobbie has worked as a psychotherapist specializing in bereavement and trauma for over 30 years, but before entering the world of grief counseling Bobbie was a culinary entrepreneur. Zahra Tangorra is a Brooklyn-based chef and restaurant consultant. They share a deep love of food and a personal understanding of its connection to grief.

On today’s show we speak with longtime friend and honorary family member, Kathie Bodily. Kathie has experienced multiple losses in her lifetime, including that of her partner in business and life of 35 years, Michael Rothbard, her 3 brothers and her mother. Kathie is also a phenomenal home cook, who enjoys food in the most special ways. She is the former owner and operator of IMAC in Huntington, NY, a music theater which hosted thousands of prolific musicians throughout its 25 year run. We were honored to have her share her insight into loss, and we hope you get as much out of this talk as we did. ❤️
