INSIGHT episode eight offers new details about the owners and employees of a San Diego-based porn website accused of luring young women into having sex on camera based on false promises. In a follow-up to INSIGHT episode two, the civil trial of 22 women suing the website “Girls Do Porn” started in August 2019. It’s was the day that some of the women who were featured in the porn videos say they’ve been waiting years for. Then, on October 10, 2019, the women found out an owner and two employees of the website were arrested by federal officials and charged with sex trafficking. The owners of the website continue to defend themselves, claiming they did nothing wrong and all of the women knew what they were signing up for. NBC 7 Investigates Reporter Mari Payton, Producers Paul Krueger and Dorian Hargrove discuss the new information that’s come to light in the courtroom, and the surprising disappearance of one of the website’s owners, now considered a fugitive.
