The Catherine Violet Hubbard Foundation was born out of the tragedy at Sandy Hook in 2012. Catherine Violet Hubbard was a first grader who lost her life on that day. She had always had a deep and profound love of all creatures—pets, wildlife, even butterflies and bees. The foundation was formed to honor her memory and to teach and share the concepts of empathy and kindness for ALL creatures. In today’s conversation Jenny discusses the foundation’s philosophies in more depth and introduces a milestone in the journey of this sanctuary—Catherine’s Learning Barn. Please listen to learn more about their amazing work. For more information you can visit www.cvhfoundation.org
