Today, we turn to the story of a man who used politics as his pulpit and compassion as his weapon—William Wilberforce.
He was not a soldier or a king, but a frail man of conviction who stood against the might of an empire built on the backs of enslaved people.
His battle lasted more than twenty years. He faced ridicule, threats, sickness, and defeat—but never surrendered.
Because he believed that when God calls us to a work of justice, we are not called to win quickly—we are called to be faithful.
