Figuring Sh!t Out is the place where personal growth meets soul. This podcast is your guide to navigating the uncertainty of your 20's (and beyond) with softness, honesty, + purpose.
Hosted by Vanessa Fontana, a writer living in NYC who left behind the corporate hustle for creative freedom - this show is an ongoing, real-time reflection of what it means to navigate adulthood, live with intention, and align with who you're meant to be.
Whether you’re in the midst of coming of age confusion, breaking generational cycles, or chasing elusive dreams, FSO empowers you to move through it all with grace.
Every Sunday, you'll find clarity in the chaos - from relationships to career pivots, purpose to burnout, spirituality to self-worth, and authenticity to creative freedom.
FSO is the deep exhale for anyone trying to live with more consciously in a world of fast-paced flux.
It is your reminder that no one has it all figured out — and that is the point.

There is a bundle of nerves in our brain-stem responsible for affirming our internal beliefs. It is called the Reticular Activating System.
It is the neuroscience behind self-fulfilling prophecies, connecting our subconscious inner world to our conscious outer world.
It is a feedback loop of incessant validation for your own internal belief systems.
It is why we are able to sort and sift through millions of stimuli, of external data, and organize it into meaningful bits we live our lives by.
On part 2 of the Law of Attraction series, we talk about rewiring our brains to look for the good and claiming internal power by stepping away from the normal chat around transcendental spirituality and grounding this portion of the series in logic, reasoning, and psychological underpinnings.
In ways that our brains can understand.
So that we can step outside of them. So that we can create presence, right where we are. So that we can be okay, right where we are.
How can we learn from other people? How can we learn to, instead of feeling envy, feel inspiration? How can we learn to live our lives solely for ourselves and step away from the perceptions of others?
How can we learn to be okay where we are? To enjoy where we are?
It's not about denying the hard moments, or pretending that they don't exist. It's about knowing that those moments are simply that --- moments in your life. They are not your life.
You get to choose what defines your life.
You get to decide.
You get to enjoy.
You get to create.
To be lucky, simply - we wake up.
xx
