This year's tax filing season is over, but the IRS is setting mandatory weekend overtime hours for some employees that's to get ahead of a backlog of tax returns flagged as having possible errors in them. Those tax returns need employees to manually review them before they're processed. The IRS faces this workload as it prepares to cut tens of thousands of employees from its workforce.
