Anthony Plainakis AKA Tony Bees, served in the US Army, and went on to a 20 year career in the NYPD as a detective. a beekeeper since he was a teenager, Tony was the bee expert for the department and now retired from the force he farms his yard in Queens and tends to his hives as well as dozens of bee rescues every year.
