"Everything's Better in Barryville" is a revolution, an adventure into the changing character of rural America, where long-time locals look with suspicion at city folk planting their flags in the country to re-start their lives, and get “back to the garden.”
Part Twin Peaks, part Footloose, and part Green Acres for the modern world, "Everything's Better in Barryville" is the last hope for a town divided, where the backroads are dotted with Trump signs, even as gay bikers roll through town during the steamy high season of the summer
months.
"Everything's Better in Barryville” is the climax of civilization.
Mike and Johnny are joined by Barryville’s finest working artists — the bodice-ripping Mistress of Rococo Romance Paintings, Sharon Spiak, and local heart of gold, “Stone Cold” Matt Nelson. Hang on to your hats and your hearts, as Barryville’s Dynamic Duo shines a light on some bad behavior bubbling up in our own backyard. All this, plus lotsa laughs, including another traffic report from Tiffany Diamond, and some sweet, soulful sounds from Barryville OG, Lacey “Gutekunst” Kean.
Painting by Sharon Spiak.
