Tornado #4 isn’t much to talk of. It touched down at 1:38 AM in Buffalo Valley, TN, Putnam County. It lifted less than ten minutes later at 1:42 AM. Rated EF-0, there was some roof damage, fallen limbs, and some tipped over porta pottys.
Tornado #5 is where things got bad again. In Cookeville, TN, a Tornado rated a staggering EF -5 touched down at 1:48 AM. A tornado described as both “historic” and “violent”. The Tornado laid waste to numerous homes, businesses, and anything else in its path. Trees were pulled from their roots and scattered across the county. Cars pulled and tossed from their parking spots. This tornado caused by far the most destruction.
