Mark Johnson, The Voice of the Buffs, and CUBuffs.com’s Neill Woelk give you an in-depth, inside look at Colorado Buffs Sports. Interviews, guest analysis and more each week focused on your CU Buffs.
Episode 4: Voice of the Buffs Mark Johnson and CUBuffs.com's Neill Woelk talk about one of the longest football camps in CU history. The Buffs are two weeks from game day and three weeks into camp. Steven Montez took it up a notch in practice this week. What does that mean? How comfortable should fans be with Sam Noyer as backup?
Plus: Neill flipped the script and asked Mark what his big unknowns are there two weeks out. The two discuss how important is communication on defense, how big a boost was it to have Kyle Evans at practice again and how much of an emphasis are the Buffs taking on special teams? Which team has the advantage between CU and CSU with the Rams having a game a week before the Buffs?
Mark also chats with preseason All-American soccer player Taylor Kornieck as that team opens its season today at Colorado State and will host three games Sunday at Prentup Field.
