CRIMINALITY is a podcast for those of us who love reality TV, true crime, and want to hear all the juicy stories where the two genres intersect. Every other Friday, hosts, Melissa (one half of Moms and Mysteries podcast) and Rebekah (host of DIE-ALOGUE podcast), will share the true story of a reality personality who faced more than just champagne problems. You won’t find murder stories here, but fear not, there are crimes a plenty - fraud, arrests, mugshots, scandals, and more. CRIMINALITY: Because loving reality isn’t a crime!
It’s episode four of TLC’s PolyFamily and Melissa and Rebekah are back with their fourth recap—because nothing says “closed quad” like four co-parents and two co-hosts.
This week, the paternity drama takes a backseat as the quad looks ahead to a much bigger challenge: securing legal parental rights for all four adults over their five shared children. Spoiler: it’s going to be a long, winding, and legally murky road.
Meanwhile, the group attempts something equally complex—planning a date night. After a surprising amount of negotiation, Taya and Tyler come out on top, but is Tyler’s idea of romance a reward or a punishment?
Family ties tighten and fray in equal measure as Taya receives unwavering support from her dad, sister, and brother, while Alesia expresses a desire to reconnect with her own father—despite his disapproval of their lifestyle.
Melissa and Rebekah may be split on Taya vs. Alesia, and they agree Tyler’s ego took a long-overdue hit, but on one point they remain united: Sean is still the worst.
