Married, Serial Cheater Defends His Playboy Lifestyle. Interview with Clarke.

We all know this type of guy, the classic philanderer. He’s a married, good looking, successful man with swagger. He has a coterie of hot honeys, both married and single women he claims as lovers. His philandering style is so typical it rings like a cliché.

Instead of making assumptions about this classic playboy archetype, I wanted to get into his mind. What drives him to pursue, woo, and ultimately sleep with multiple single and married women: all from the same community, his own community, all at the same time? Some of these women are even the wives of men he knows.

Why does he act this way? How does it make him feel? What are his sentiments about the women with whom he’s cavorting?

What if a significant number of married men act this way. It was a disturbing thought, but I asked this episode’s guest, a man I’ll call Clarke — all this and more.

I begin the episode by reading the story, then follow it up with a panel discussion with my guests: Inna Swinton, comedian, lawyer and author of “The Many Lives of Mila”. Silence is the lethal injection in any relationship. It’s more invective and hurtful than a barrage of expletives and a slamming door. In silence, you deny your partner the surety of knowing where you stand and giving them the option to do something about it.

I’ve written a short fictional story called “Answer Me You Son Of A Bitch,” that chronicles the agony of a married woman who is ghosted by her married lover for months and months, until one day fate brings a chance for her to win him back.

My Girlfriend Cheated On Me With Her Dog

Imagine you’re a bride, and your fiancé invites a woman you barely know to your wedding under the guise that they’re “just friends.” He and his “friend” disappear from the reception for almost 2 hours and no one knows where they are. It’s not surprising that shortly after the wedding this bride’s marriage ends.

According to John, my guest today, his girlfriend (this former bride and divorcee) became a cheater: an emotional cheater. John claims she was never a truly present and giving partner because everything she went through made her too guarded.

John says that instead of nurturing their relationship, his girlfriend poured her affection, cuddles and kisses in another direction. She was so consumed with this “other” that John felt neglected and emotionally cheated on.

What’s surprising is that this “other”who stole the couples’ intimacy away was his girlfriend’s … dog?

On this episode my guest John and I discuss his unique perspective on emotional cheating. John also tells an incredible story of how a bride was forced to live out a cheating nightmare on her wedding day.
