Each week on Cathode Ray Mission, video store nerds Randy & Will plumb the depths of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, and all the other streaming services to find the best and worst of big-budget cinema blockbusters, direct-to-video cult favorites, and everything in between.
Well we did it, we got through the holiday season of 2020 and now we look forward to 2021 where we are sure to find a new definition of pain and suffering as our collective moral and mental constitution is slowly digested over a thousand crises.
Nevertheless we look to start the new year with some level of dignity which is why we've selected Trailer Park Boys: The Movie as our big send-off to the worst year in most of our lives. Released in 2006 and directed by series creator Mike Clattenburg The Movie is based on the hit Canadian TV series of the same name. The Movie follows series lead characters Ricky, Julius, & Bubbles who, shortly after being released from prison plan to pull off 'the big dirty' and live the rest of their lives on easy street.
We ramble a lot in this episode but who cares, it's the week between XMAS and the New Year so were allowed to slack off just this once.
