Welcome to “Between Us Moms,” the podcast that spills the tea (or should we say milk) on parenting and pop culture.
In a world filled with dirty diapers, sleepless nights and toddler tantrums, two emmy-award winning entertainment journalists slash mamas embark on a hilarious and heartwarming journey about the beauty and chaos of motherhood.
And get this – your favorite celebrity mamas will be dropping by occasionally to share candid, meaningful and funny stories about parenthood not shared anywhere else.
From mama wins to the oh-so-familiar epic mom fails, we keep it real so you can too. And yes, we’re chatting about our favorite pop culture stories too — and sharing our expert insight you won’t get anywhere else!
New episodes every Wednesday.
Hallie and Katie have a lot to chat about this week! Hallie is tired AF, revealing Dylan, 2, is having a major sleep regression and is waking up at 4am every morning and refuses to go back to sleep. Meanwhile, Katie and Jason's daughter, Kaia, 1, is having a sleep regression of her own, with a raging case of toddler FOMO that left her crying so hard in her crib she puked! As for their baby girl, Emma, 5 months, she gave mom and dad reason to celebrate, sleeping through the night for the first time.
Hallie dishes on how baby led weaning is going with her youngest daughter, Collins, 7 months, and says this time around she has way less anxiety with all new milestones than she did with her firstborn. And speaking of milestones, Hallie reveals that she's scrambling to learn the tricks of potty training after her toddler jumped the gun and took a big poop in the potty. The mom-of-two also gives a sweet shoutout to her hubby, Andrew, who turned 40-years-old on Tuesday.
The moms applaud Kylie Kelce after she kept it real about “severe baby blues” and the hardest parts of early motherhood during a recent appearance on the Sunday Sports Club podcast. The 32-year-old wife of NFL star Jason Kelce and mom to three daughters (with baby #4 on the way), is on a mission to normalize the messy, complicated, emotional realities of postpartum life. “The conversations we’re not having are the things we’re all experiencing—postpartum depression, baby blues, mom guilt, feeling inadequate as a woman. We all go through it, but nobody talks about it. And we should,” she emphasized.
Hallie and Katie also weigh in after one mom asked for advice on Reddit regarding her 13-year-old daughter who wanted a $50 shirt. The mamas both agree that they would buy their daughters the shirt, but only under one condition.
