Nina is not a fixed interior designer—she loves all aspects of creativity and business. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA and a Bachelor’s of Architecture, Nina “fell” into interior design. And it’s a career that she feels she well suited for.

She shares her method for writing her books; how her design style shifted after moving to California from New York; her rules around lighting in the home; the importance of authenticity in materials; and her experience designing two California hotels.
