Iowa Player with Heart: Haylay Lydolph
Haylay Lydolph was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the field and court. The thing she loves the most about high school sports is the way everyone supports each other. Haylay and her teammates hold each other accountable and push each other to do better. She participates in cross country, basketball, softball, and track and field. In addition to school sports, Haylay works at Keosauqua Vet Clinic and cares for boarded animals on the weekends. She participates in Warrior Pride Day, which supports different projects in each of the communities of Van Buren County. She also enjoys helping with youth basketball and softball by coaching younger players. Agriculture to Haylay is a way of life. She is grateful to have been raised on her family farm and takes pride in everything she does, from taking care of animals to driving the tractor. Haylay is very interested in animal science and the agriculture business. She hopes to attend Iowa State University to pursue either a vet med or agri-business degree.
