Rachel Ogden was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. Her favorite part about high school sports is the long-lasting friendships. Her friends and her are so close because they bond over their sports as well as practice, play, win and lose together. She is also thankful for the life lessons she has learned from sports such as communication and time management. To Rachel, agriculture is not just a part of life, but it is a passion and a lifestyle. The agriculture community is full of people who work hard to feed the world. Rachel is her FFA chapter president, a class officer, member of NHS, as well as apart of Student Council. She also is active in the silver cords program. Rachels future plans are to attend the University of Iowa to obtain a pharmaceutical degree.
