Ryan Franzen was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the field. His favorite thing about high school sports is competing alongside his friends and the feeling that he gets after winning a game that he worked months in training for. With growing up on a family farm, agriculture has been a huge part of Ryan’s life. Ryan has continued to find ways to tie agriculture into his education, as well. Besides football, Ryan is involved in track, trapshooting, FFA, and church and volunteer community activities. After graduation, Ryan plans to attend NICC for an agribusiness degree that he will use in the insurance field and hopes to one day manage the family farm with his brother.
