Amelia Boender was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. Her favorite part about high school sports is the people as well as the community you create with teammates and fans. To Amelia, agriculture is all about fun and hard work. Growing up on a farm she always enjoyed driving tractors with her grandpa and spending time with family. Amelia is involved in FFA, yearbook, cross country, basketball, track, church youth group, and volunteers for multiple community activities. Once Amelia graduates, she plans to attend college for early childhood education.
