Anum is a Bay Area based interaction designer and new media artist who crafts mixed-reality experiences by blending physical and digital media centering queer, immigrant and non-western narratives. They were born and raised in Pakistan and came to the U.S. in 2008 to pursue a practice in art and design. They are a graduate of Massachusetts College of Art and Design and California College of the Arts.
