9 / 11 was a day that many people in the United States will remember so vividly. This occurrence changed the nation and put it in a very vulnerable state. Many people have recollections of what happened on that day, what they were doing, and where they were. But what if you were a child that experienced this event first hand? To me it seemed like an ordinary day. I followed my morning routine, as I did every other day. Until one message from the school’s intercom changed my life forever.
