Syd and Olivia have always wanted to perform, write, and create comedic stories. They met and began to collaborate when they were just tweens. Fast forward to today they currently have a show, The Generational Talk Show, on Ellen Tube and are hosts of Syd and Olivia Talk Sh*t podcast. They have skyrocketed TikTok success with their hilarious sketches and have new work in development.
What’s so awesome about Syd and Olivia is that they have a clear vision for their comedy, but that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily been easy. Syd, Olivia, and I reflect on what it's like to be a woman in comedy. They share their journey to get representation and how they’ve created a space online for their artistic endeavors when traditional spaces are slow to open up.
