On this episode of the podcast, South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman discusses the 99-page funding bill, as well as Elon Musk’s role in exposing more than $154B in waste from the USAID agency, with a total of $105B in savings for every taxpayer. Congressman Norman praised Musk’s efforts and called for a recission package drafted and passed by Congress to cut unnecessary spending. He highlighted the clean CR that continues funding at 2024 levels, with a $6B increase in defense and $13B cut in non-defense discretionary spending. Norman mentioned President Trump’s strategic Bitcoin reserve but explains that there is a need for regulation to prevent fraud. He further criticized the Democrats for their lack of empathy and called for a return to core American values.
