One of wrestling’s most popular tag teams, Adam “Edge” Copeland and Jay “Christian” Reso, are teaming up once again to bring you a podcast about, well, everything. The hilarious duo will take you behind-the-scenes of the wrestling industry, talk with wrestlers and other entertainers they’ve met over the years, share fun stories about life after the biz and being dads, and, sometimes, they’ll even play the kazoo.
What's up, Hosers?!
Welcome to another....Pod of Awesomeness.
This week, E&C's guest was none other than Big Mike, New Japan's Michael Elgin. Elgin, who's only 30, already has 14 years of wrestling experience under his belt, and told the Rocket Strappers all about it--how he started, who he feels most comfortable in the ring with, and the massive exposure that he's been offered while wrestling for NJPW.
Among other things, Michael also spoke about the performers who influenced him while growing up, and the process of training up-and-coming wrestlers.
Before getting to Big Mike, though, Edge and Birdman had a LOT to cover--the Jericho-Kenny Omega announcement, AJ's title win, last weekend's UFC card, ESPN's 30 for 30 on The Nature Boy, Ric Flair, and a big announcement from...TOMMAY!
They also managed to answer some of your emails, and I'm pretty sure both Enya and U2's Bono were mentioned on the show as well.
It's a good one, Hosers. Enjoy.
HERE WE GO.
