Goooood Saturday morning, friends! James Clary talks about: On April 21, 2020, Sara Brady took two of her children to the park for a playdate with several other moms and their children. Shortly after arriving, three police officers arrived and stated that the playground was closed. Apparently the rest of the park, which included basketball courts, volleyball courts, picnic areas and benches, etc. were still open! All children and moms were ordered to leave the playground and congregate on the grass where they would have been in closer proximity and in violation of Idaho’s order to social isolate! Sara attempted to question the officer about what he was ordering everyone to do. Yet Sara was told to get off the park and the officer threatened to arrest her. When Sara continued to ask questions this was taken as a refusal to leave the bark. The officer then began counting down to her, like a child, and eventually arrested Sara for “trespassing” in a public park. Since then, Sara’s case has been assigned to the Idaho Attorney General’s Office, who has been adamant that Idaho’s lockdown orders are constitutional. Sara is facing six months in jail and/or $1000 fine. A jury trial to fight this violation of rights is going to cost $30,000-$50,000. You can follow Sara on Facebook, or view her website.
Happy Saturday! James Clary talks about: A mother-daughter duo join James this morning to talk about their horror story with Covid-19 In late March of 2020, Frank Carter and his wife, Peggy, were not feeling well after a trip to the dentist. The symptoms they were experiencing were nothing similar to what the news media was reporting during the early stages of the pandemic. On April 7, Frank was very weak, fell onto the floor and was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville by one of his daughters. Peggy would never see her husband again. Frank was given Remdesivir on April 8 and told the family he was feeling great and not to worry, but things changed shortly thereafter, when the doctors came in and told Frank they would need to intubate him. The family was not notified regarding this decision. Frank started to decline rapidly on April 9 requiring increased oxygen requirements with multiple organ failure. He was placed on dialysis and started having cardiac issues requiring more medications. The family was notified that the recommendation was to put Frank on comfort care. After only 6 short days, Frank passed away on April 13, 2020. Peggy and Frank Carter were married for 61 ½ years. Peggy and Monique want to be heard and for people to be held accountable so no one else has to bear this immense pain they are still experiencing. Frank was an 18 year retired Lt. Colonel in the US Army.
