CHANEL Connects, the flagship arts and culture podcast, returns with a series of conversations recorded live around the world.
From LACMA in Los Angeles to Berlin’s Hamburger Bahnhof and Fondation Beyeler in Basel, Season 6 connects pioneers across cities and disciplines to discuss what inspires them today and excites them about tomorrow.
The new season features Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter alongside globally renowned artists Sarah Sze, Julie Mehretu, David Salle, and Linder Sterling, as well as some of the most exciting names emerging today: choreographer Andrea Peña, designer Bárbara Sánchez-Kane, and artists Ayoung Kim, Emeka Ogboh, and Pol Taburet—all winners of the CHANEL Next Prize.

Artist Arthur Jafa, winner of the Golden Lion at the 2019 Venice Biennale, connects with painter - and winner of the 2020 Rome Prize - Jennifer Packer. The conversation was led by Hans Ulrich Obrist, curator and Artistic Director of the Serpentine Galleries in London. They talk about what makes a work of art successful, the social, political and historical ways their work can be viewed, public and private mourning, and much more.
