Mir Amman added a novel jewel to our treasured Dastani literature by translating Khusrau’s work, originally written in Persian, into simple, everyday Urdu in his ‘Bagh-o-Bahaar’. Bagh-o-Bahar was the single most popular Urdu publication of Fort William College.
