Gripped by a global body-swap phenomenon, Emma (Deutch), a go-nowhere daughter, and Lisa (Thompson), a micro-managing mom, wake one morning to see they’ve switched bodies and become "Switchies." Already at each other’s throats, this dysfunctional duo desperately try to find their way back into their own bodies.
Along the way, they manage to screw up each other’s lives while taking the family - a bumbling dad (Whitford) and weirdo little brother (Moynihan) - as well as Emma’s sword-obsessed boyfriend (Mintz-Plasse) along for the ride.
