Wisconsin Player with Heart: Ryan Clark
Ryan Clark was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the field and court. What he loves most about high school sports is the opportunity to work with a team to accomplish a goal. His favorite part is interacting with his close friends every day and enjoying the grind of working hard to accomplish goals together. Ryan is involved in FFA, 4H Club, football, interactive club, National Honors Society, and manufacturing. He also participates in a variety of community activities such as serving the FFA Alumni breakfast every spring and taking part in a weekend-long religion retreat where he served as a senior mentor returning from the previous year. He also helps further people's religion before they become confirmed into the church. To Ryan, agriculture is one of the most interesting fields of work. He loves working in the summertime, running forage wagons for many different farms that need an extra driver in assistance to their hay seasons. He enjoys helping both sets of grandparents who own farms. Agriculture has already taught him loads of knowledge and provided him with many life lessons. Agriculture has not only given him something to love but has also provided his family a career in which they can provide for his family. Ryan plans on attending Iowa State University, where he will pursue an agricultural engineering degree.
