Gage Anderson was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on and off the course. His favorite part about high school sports is how close knit his team is and being able to support his teammates. To Gage, agriculture is not just a job sector, it is a group of people with a drive and dedication to support our world through the production of food. These people aren't just farmers in the field, but the agronomists, researchers, veterinarians, and anyone else working to advance agriculture. Gage is involved in cross country, National Honor Society, FFA, Math Team, Trap Team, Ice Fishing Team, Link Crew, Advisory Board, and Career and Technical Education Agriculture Advisory Board, and is a New Student Ambassador. Gage also helps with Project Backpack and Hides for Heroes and Summer Trap League. After graduation, Gage plans on attending a four-year university to pursue a degree in agricultural engineering or agronomy.
