WI-Elyse Linscheid
Elyse Linscheid was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court and field. Her favorite part about high school sports is being part of a team and making a lot of friendships while learning life lessons such as time management and goal setting. She also loves the opportunity to be a role model for younger female athletes. To Elyse, agriculture is providing food to people locally and globally. There are various parts to agriculture and it’s not just about farming, but overall, you can be proud of your efforts and involvement with agriculture. Elyse is heavily involved both school and community activities including volleyball, softball, class officer, Leo Club, FFA, National Honor Society, SWAL math participant, Forensics Team, student blood drive coordinator, homecoming chair, prom court, 4-H, Iowa County Cancer Coalition volunteer, church activities, and other community volunteer events. After high school, Elyse plans to attend college in Wisconsin to study math education. She would love to teach math at a middle or high school level and coach volleyball.
