Stan Nelson, a district director on the Iowa Corn Promotion Board, says Checkoff dollars are spent on research, promotion, and education. He tells Brownfield Iowa corn farmers benefit from all three, and often there’s crossover. And as farmers produce more corn using less resources, Nelson calls finding new uses a huge priority.
