Laura Bartels was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her efforts on and off the court. Her favorite thing about high school sports is how every sport builds its own little community and that community becomes like a family. Agriculture is and will always be something that Laura can come home to. On her family farm, she spends most of her time mowing hay, harvesting crops, or moving cattle. Laura is involved in FCA, FFA, art club, softball, and volleyball. After she graduates, she plans on going to college out west in either South Dakota, Wyoming, or Montana to major in marketing. She also wants to rodeo with hopes of joining the pro circuit.
