Carter Peterson was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his commitment and passion on and off the course. His favorite part about high school sports is the opportunity to be a role model for younger kids. He think it's super cool to have younger people who look up to him for not only what he does in sports but what he does outside of it. It has helped him become a better person knowing that people are looking up to him. To Carter, agriculture is about opportunity. Agriculture creates many jobs for people and is how we support everyone in our world. Carter is involved in golf, basketball, and FCA. His future plans are to attend college and play golf and wants to continue to serve his community with his faith being the center of it all.
