Lydia Yost was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the matt. Her favorite part about high school sports is the sisterly atmosphere. To Lydia, agriculture means working together. Everyone is working to provide, help, and support the ecosystem, animals, and human races. Farmers provide food and by-products that give us food and clothes and things to help in our daily lives. Her grandparents are the reasons she fell in love with agriculture. She helps show cattle, sheep and competes in various events for FFA and 4-H. She is involved in swimming, gymnastics, FFA, band, 4-H church youth group, and volunteers in different ways in her church. Her future plans are to pursue something ag related.
