Sam Hofer was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for his efforts on the field and beyond. His favorite part about high school sports is how the community rallies around the team and comes together to support them every game. It is amazing to see how much they care about the kids. To Sam agriculture means opportunity. Agriculture offers and endless number of opportunities that students can learn about and pursue a career in. Sam is involved in football, basketball, baseball, track, and helps with numerous banquets and the First Baptist Church in Emery. After Sam graduates, he plans to attend SDSU and major in business. His hopes are to get an offer to play football as well.
