Kendra Walp was nominated as a Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the court. Her favorite part about high school sports is the bond you create with your teammates. The dedication that everyone has, and getting to experience it first hand with them is a great feeling, and she loves being able to support and encourage her teammates. To Kendra, agriculture is very important. It has taught her grit, hard work, and dedication. Agriculture supports our country and the world, and knowing that she is a part of that and involved in the future feels amazing to her. Kendra is involved in volleyball, softball, student council, FFA, and Richland County Junior Fair board. Her future plans are to attend college and earn a 4 year degree, and eventually create a successful future for herself. She is grateful for all of the opportunities, support, and encouragement she gets from her peers, teachers, coaches, and family.
