Katelyn Soost was nominated as Beck’s Player with Heart for her commitment and passion on and off the field. Her favorite part about high school sports are the life lessons and the memories that come with them. After several injuries, she has learned that life doesn’t always go the way you planned. While sitting out because of her injuries she learned that every moment counts and you cant take them for granted. To Katelyn, agriculture is a lifestyle. It's not just a hobby that you get to participate in sometimes it's blood, sweat, tears, hardwork, and dedication every day. She was born into a 4-H livestock family and has been showing various animals for a large portion of her life. Katelyn is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, band, pep band, NHS, student council, Be Kind Ambassador, FFA (president), 4-H (president), Tri County Fair Board member, and church youth group. Her future plans are to go o college for a career in agriculture or in the medical field.
