More than a week after 18-year-old Giovanni Pelletier was found dead in a Manatee County retention pond, new video released by the sheriff’s office shows him running along I-75 and down an embankment alone before he disappeared. Authorities are still awaiting toxicology reports to determine the cause of death, while his family calls for federal investigators to take over the case.
